FAQ's

Can you advise if the PC version is purchased at the current $95 special price, will there be any compensation made to those purchasers who later upgrade to the MAC version when it is released, or will the full MAC version have to be purchased separately?

Our policy with regard to software licensing is simply that a 1 user license of Har-Bal version X is good for all supported platforms. That means that if you buy a PC version now, when a Mac OSX version becomes available you will be able to obtain, free of charge, the equivalent Mac version.

The one exception to this is if the Mac version is more advanced than your current PC version you may have to pay a nominal upgrade fee to account for the effort spent developing the extra functionality. So in short, you will be compensated for your initial PC version purchase should you make one.

We intend to port to both Linux and Mac OSX. When they become available all our PC version customers will be able to have both for a nominal fee and all new customers will be able to access the equivalent Linux, Mac OSX and PC versions all for the price of one user license.
