I bought an Avalon VT737sp last year, and I’ve never regretted it. It’s not cheap, but it adds a musical quality to anything that goes through it that I’ve never experienced before.

As for the Tascam 2400, I considered buying one and decided not to. The primary reasons were that there didn’t seem to be aggressive support by Tascam (the driver is not updated frequently, and driver updates are needed according to other users); In addition, there are no channel LEDs to let you know what is on each channel. So you’d be back to using masking tape to label your channels. Imagine having dozens of strips of masking tape hanging around, one for each song. I ended up going with a Mackie Control Universal – better driver support, and LEDs to let you know what’s on each individual channel and what parameter you’re adjusting. You can add extension modules to get more channels.

As for the Mackie 824 monitors, they’re very popular. I just bought a pair of the HR 626s, and I’m happy with them.

The other equipment on your list I don’t have any experience with.

I’m not sure what you mean when you ask for the “most efficient way to connect these”. Are you having a problem connecting something?

Tip for the future – when you post links to equipment, don’t link to a simple picture. Link to a product info page.
