Saved file sounds flat???

I've just used harbal for the first time to master a track. The thing is it sounds great when i am playing it in harbal but when i save the file and play it back in winamp it sounds dead/flat. I save it as a wav file so don't know why this should be, am i doing something wrong? An explanation would be much appreciated.

Have just imported wav file back into cubase and it sounds fine!!! Guess it must be a problem with winamp. An explanation though would still be appreciated.

Two things.

1. Is the auto EQ function in Winamp set to "off"?

2. When you are saving a file in Har-Bal, is your EQ button depressed before you save the file?

Feel really stupid now. Checked settings in winamp and yes.. the eq was turned on. Thanks for advice i'll go stand in the corner with my dunce hat on.
