Now I checked the box on simulatedDriver where it says enabled, and the ethernet is green and the status on the virtualPLC is connected but machine still says disconnected. I am getting frustated I dont know what else to do I dont see any more settings.

I worked at Harlequin and we put books on SOS if we had promotions planned around the release date. For the most part, booksellers were respectful of that, and if they accidentally released them early they worked to fix the problem as quickly as possible.

On the subject of compression, what are people's favourite compressors software-wise? What do you use and for what? I always find myself returning to Waves' CLA-76 and VComp, but being a fan of compression I'm open to trying more...

I use Costco as well. I was shooting in sRGB and now am using Adobe RGB. Looks like I should really being using ProPhoto. I know it has the widest Gaumt but what difference does it make if all my prints have to "dumbed-down" to sRGB for printing at Costco?

when you say "this should occur separately fore each color channel..." do you mean the computation of the normalization should happen 3 times? just trying to understand what you've written. hot pixels in the flat subs should be taken care of during calibration of the flat, no? if necessary...
