Hi Guys,
Sorry for dbl post...wasn't sure where to post this.
When using Empathetic EQ on 2.3, cant your do the same thing on 2.2? Is there something under the hood that is different?

I do have to say that I find myself going back to the mix and re tweaking so that HB isnt doing all the work. I dont find that I need massive amounts of HB to correct my mixes.

Well, I got HB last week and after 20 hours or so (not straight) I am feeling comfortable with it. I also want to say that this is the best $100 I have spent in regards to audio tools. Here is the technique I am using. Some of this is what Earle had said to do so I am not taking credit for all that ...

not too beat this to death..... I have a track that is on the bassy side (low end mud). I rolled off below 45 in HB as you suggested elswhere. I then dump into SForge and try to Multi comp a fix with Wave LinMB. Any suggestion for using the MB effectivley to fix an overly bassy low end? Thanks, Rich O

So,
I would put my wave into to Har Bal. set up my eq to taste-import to Sound Forge and Multi Band Comp if need be then put backinto Har balance and then limt and add air if needed?

Isnt the limiter in Har Bal just as good? Can you use this for your final limiter.
If I had a ref. with a RMS of -12 and a peak of 3, if I do Loudenss match, I should not need to export to Soundforge and use a L2?
