Re: Let's Talk

Hi Paavo,

Put me down for the new beta, I'm about to start on a mastering project so the timing is perfect. HB 2.3 is still great as well :)

Also I'll be happy to pay upfront for the upgrade.

Cheers

The reason I suggested this is because I find myself A/B'ing between two different mixes and being able to define markers means I can quickly switch between different sections of the same song to compare the sound between the mixes. I know this is possible already using the loop button but because t...

Track Position Slider suggestion

I would be nice if it was possible to have some kind of time scale on the TPS so it's easier to locate places in the song and even nicer would be some kind of marker system so one can store difererent loctions in a marker list and jump between them .

You can click on the button named "Open a reference" or "close a reference" located directly beneath the Equalizer menu. Hi Earle :) Yes I've been doing that . I just thought it would be handy to have a button to open/close the current reference without the dialogue box . But I ...

Hide Reference button

Just a quick idea. I would find it useful to have a button to quickly hide/unhide the reference graph just to unclutter the workspace now and then .

If it is an idividual instrument issue and you have access to the tracking then just look at the spectrum of the track for the snare drum on its own. That should give you a much better idea than just playing around with a graphic EQ. Regards, Paavo. Hi Paavo, Just to clarify things . I have been bo...

Hi Paavo, Thanks for your reply . I guess I was asking the impossible and now you've explained the tecnical issues involved it makes sense . I'll have to try an equalizer like you suggested . One of the reasons was that after using intuitQ the snare seemed to become thinner and less punchy in the mi...

Solo selected frequency

Hi there, I don't know if this possible technically but sometimes i feel it would be really useful if i could just select a certain frequency in the graph and hear that solo'ed . It would need some sort of tool for marking the fequency range a bit like one would in an audio editor . I would be great...
