Hi-
IHar-Bal 2.3 is great, but I'm wondering if I've missed anything, since the last version I have is dated 4/07, and there were pretty frequest updates before that.
Thanks-
-Susan

Newbie gain cursor question
Hi- I must have a basic misunderstanding of how to adjust peaks and dips using the gain cursor. I click on a point and drag, but portions to the left and right of the point I've selected begin to move almost immediately as well. If I continue to drag, the whole spectrum eventually goes along. There'...

"ASIO driver open failure" message
Hi- I get this trying to play any of the 3 "female.wav" files I downloaded from the reference files folder. My other .wavs play fine in Har-Bal, and the downloaded files play fine in CoolEdit, etc. My card is an Echo Indigo I/O, and I'm using Har-Bal v. 1.51. I tried re-booting; no change....

Dan- my first thought is, well, how are you posting now then, mys econd thought is, log out, go into your cookies and delete all cookies created by Har-Bal.com and log back in and see if that helps. Not having built PHPBB myself (my forums are better :-) ) I can't really see where it would even be h...

OT: Post Reply question
Hi-
Whenever I click Post Reply I'm cycled back to the message list window. When I go back in and click Post Reply again it works and I can then reply. This happens every time. Is there anything to be done about this? I don't have a problem with other forums.
Thanks-
-Susan

Newbie question re drawing trace lines
Hi all- Sorry for the basic newbie GUI question. Should I be able to match a source file to a filter exactly? I'm not suggesting I would ever want to, but I just want to know how fine my control should be over the trace adjustments. I know about holding the Shift key down to maintain the Q. It seems...

Hi Paavo- I knew Match Loudness wouldn't be the silver bullet for the track -- I was mainly just wondering if it was worth exploring as an alternative to normalizing. Thanks for explaining why it wouldn't be the best choice for a single track. I'd more or less come to that conclusion after experimen...
