Yes I know !!!

What I'm saying is, why do I have to switch to a specific spectrum, why not just apply the change to the line I'm pointing at with my cursor
(let the program switch, if it has to)

Is there any special reason why we have to select a spectrum to work on? why not just use the trace closest to the cursor.

Please tell me (non t-rack user), what is 'threshold' on the t-racks limiter ??

I expected threshold to be some point, where something starts to work, like compression, how is this connected with loudness matching?

Is 'threshold' just another name for input level/gain ?

Yes, of course we need a gain control; my request was, not to adjust gain automaticly, when using the 'Match Loadness' function.

Sorry,
I was checking on my lap-top, that hasn't been updated. (still version 1.5)
Of course you are right, in version 1.51, 'Home' will return to zero.
But back to the initial question: why move the slider, when we most of the time, want to move it back again.

I'm sorry to say it; but you are wrong on this:
Pressing 'Home' will move the slider to the top i.e. +15 (and 'End' will give you -15).
There is no easy way to obtain zero.

Match Loudness and gain slider

The command 'Match Loudness' moves the gain slider, but most time, you don't want this added gain and has to reset the slider to zero. Please implement one or more of the following: 1) Shortcut to set gain to zero. 2) Leave the slider alone and just pop-up the value. 3) Match-loudness value displaye...

I like the plan for a 'live product', but why use external hardware, in a live setup, the pc/mac should have plenty of power to handle the program. since it is (in my situation) not doing anything else. (Maybe you allready guesed it: I'm using Smaart for live work, and i would love to see a HarBal a...

When talking about filters, I do agree with you; what I am refeering to, is the gain-control (slider). If you have 2 versions of the same track, only with a gain difference, loading one as reference and the other as source, these will show up as parallel traces; now do a loudness match, the gain wil...

Gain adjusment, visual feedback

When changing gain, I would expect to see the traces move up (or down).
any reason, why there is no (visual) feedback?

One more change I'll like to see:
In addition to changing color on a trace, why not open for change in linestyle and weight.

The 'white/blue' line are straight lines between the focus indicators, nothing like the original spectrum. I'll send a screen-dump to your info/support mail (I don't know how to post a file on this forum). You may want to know, I'm using Win XP pro on a P4 and Gforce video card. I can also reproduce...

Another minor bug

To reproduce, follow these steps: 1. Deselect option 'Restore file on startup' 2. Close/Restart HarBal 3. Load a track (and don't mess with anything) 4. Select EQ cursor 5. Toggle focus indicators on (if not allready on) 6. Click on green trace to add some EQ. BUG: a white/blue line is drawn between...

Negative, all modal dialogs are center second screen, as expected.
Only other problem is the startup splash, this is also shown right side of screen 1.

Focus indicator + minor bug repport

Can someone please explain the function/purpose of 'focus indicator' ??? GUI-bug (very minor) When using dual monitor setup, and Har-Bal on secondary monitor, all tooltips (hints) for Har-Bal buttons are shown on primary monitor (right edge). Looks like you are trying to adjust the hint to stay insi...
