Ok, what do you think, is it better to speed up a song after limiting or before limiting? I have a particular situation. All the EQ and Dynamics are already done with the hardware.

Thanks,

Well, I know I'll have to do so. What is the best software or plugin for this purpose?

:) Hi.

Ok, I want to return to Har-Bal's average and peak lines. I think it is technically impossible to change the distance between these lines during mastering.

Are there any opposite opinions? :)

Hi.

Yes I meant about multiband expansion. Do you use multiband expansion on certain frequencies? Is multiband expansion useful and proper tool in this case?

Thank you.

Thank you, Evan.

I thought maybe expansion might help to make ranges equal between Average and Peak lines. Which tools could help in this case?

Maybe Earle and Paavo could help here, please :)

Thank you.

Sincerely.

Using Expander During Mastering

Hello, guys!

Is it possible to see frequency ranges in Har Bal which should be expanded during the mastering? Should expander be used on the narrow ranges or wider ranges?

Thank you.

Thank you, Paavo.

I'll try to be careful with Mid-Side EQ'ing :)

EQing the Side channel

Hello!

What could be the best suggestions for EQing the Side channel?

Should we leave the low content here or should we just cut it not to mess up the lows?

Is it better to lower th Side channels volume for radios?

Thank you!

Thank you, Earle. It's clear and I know how to prepare my music for radios now. But let's say I have only a loud, an old master -10dB. Is it a good idea to lower its volume peaks to -3dB? I mean output -3 not -0.1. Would my too loud master sound better then on the radio? Thank you. Sincerely, Bracel...
