I guess my answer is do whatever works best for you, whatever you get the best output with. Personally I only use 1/12th now. I prefer the most accuracy, in any way I can get it.

Honestly the Har-Bal limiter isn't that great. Also, matching loudness to some other arbitrary track only based on the arbitrary gain, and trying to have the limiter keep up... is NOT a good practice. For future compiles, you can force DEP to be off as of VS2008. You can also easily get UAC to auto-grab administrative rights through merging a simple manifest, if you ever need to have that and don't want to deal with UAC SDK. PM me if you want it and I'll send you the manifest.
