Thanks, I appreciate the replies. The clipping I referred to was in the *._eq files created by HB, not while playing the wave file I was working on. I've since noticed a major mistake in my processing chain before I got to the HB stage - I should have noticed this while Har-Balling, so I've put myse...

32 bit float wave files clipping
Har-bal is giving me errors with 32 bit float files.
A wave shows a -13.08 average with +5.78 peaks.
The same file analyzed in Wavelab shows -13.06 ave but -0.10 peaks, which is correct.
Adjusting the eq in Har'bal results in clipping.
I'm using v 2.3r3.

Three things that would relieve my mouse-hand RSI: 1.mouse-free editing - cursor up-down keys control level, left-right sets Q, & some keys to scroll frequency 2.shortcut key for quick cursor switch - without changing from eq cursor, hold down a key to switch to zoom, back to eq when released. 3...

Zoom key
I'd like to be able to press a key to switch the cursor to zoom and switch back to eq when I release the key.

Thanks for the reply. Like I said, I'm familiar with M-S coding, and have never got the results that I do using Air. It seems thtere's more going on than L-R, R-L etc summing. I was hoping an explantion of the Har-Bal process would clarify this for me. Plus, I like to be able to tell a client what I...

Air explained
Hi Har-Bal Can you explain what processes the audio goes through when I raise the "Air" slider? I had a client ask me while we marvelled at the transformation of his "mastered" CD as we increased the Air amount. Is there some frequency time-shift to accent mids and highs? I under...

Creamware Scope ASIO & Har-Bal
I'm a new Har-Bal owner. I'm trying to get it to work with a Scope audio card from Creamware. I have to use the Multimedia driver in the HarBal driver options - the ASIO choice results in glitchy playback. Is this normal? Also, how does Har-Bal handle 32bit float wav files - truncate to 24 bit? Than...
