From what I've been taught the Dithering comes at the very final stage before rndering the CD. So, my questions is, up to that point my file is 24 bit. Is harbal 2 reading in 24 bit or crunching down to 16 bit? Should I combine the mon files before HarBal or use them seperated? Usually my steps are:...

So, how do I: 1. convert a track to .anl (analize?) 2. how do I load a WAV file as a reference The reference\open seems to default to anl and not allow me to choose other file types. I did some searches in the help file but nothing came up. Thanks Terry

When I do Ctrl + W, switch to reference file, I hear no difference.

Do I have to stop playback first?

Does this switch (Ctrl + W) overlay a filter based on the reference track or
actually playback another WAV file i.e. song
