Re: Let's Talk

I finally had a chance to really play with HB3.2 Beta today. I was wanting a way to use the Undo/Redo buttons confined to a particular tab (Spectrum / Frequency Response / Histogram). For example, I tweak my EQ under Spectrum; then I tweak the compression under Histogram; then I decide I should step...

Re: Let's Talk

Neither of these first two Beta releases have been able to open a large (45+ min) wave file. It goes through the analyzing process and then goes into "not responding". I'm not very Windows savvy so I can send you a crash report but you'll have to tell me how. When I divided the same file i...

Not that cosmetic thing again! Yeah, I know some people love sculpted GUI's but I'm not one of them (unfortunate for you I guess).. Don't get me wrong. I wasn't wishing for a prettier interface for myself. I don't care what it LOOKS like, I just need to it to fix my mixes. I think your priorities s...

I did think about that and I think it should be available to the user. However, I didn't pursue it as I wanted to get something out pretty quick and a user adjustable option would require a GUI interface that would have slowed he release. Actually, I think I'd invisage the Gui for a "semi-manu...

I do have a question about the opto half inch preset in t-racks. When I match volumed my track to -9.2 db, I saved it, opened it up in tracks and applied that setting. The sound I heard out the speakers was almost on the point of distortion, though upon analysis in wavelab, it said it was at a -.09...

I combine Har-Bal and T-Racks and I think it sounds great. You don't really need T-Racks because you already have the EQ and limiting in Har-Bal. But I like the sound of the T-Racks compressor, limiter, and clipper on rock music. Har-Bal has a much better EQ than T-Racks. So since I already have bot...

Wow! That's so simple yet effective! I'm embarrassed that I hadn't thought of it myself. If I record a song using a lot of artificial instruments like synth bass and drum machines, the mix can be bass-heavy. I think the makers of those drum machines like to include a lot of low end in the sam...
