Thank you, Paavo.
But would it be better for radios if I boosted 2 or 3 dB let's say from 2000 Hz to 6000 Hz. How to balance the spectrum of a song to make it sound loud or louder on the radios?
Thank you!
Sincerely,
Bracelet Z

Radio Master Spectrum With Har-Bal
Hello.
I have a perfectly balanced mix. Would it be better to make a special spectrum for Radios? Which frequencies should I boost or Cut?
Thank you!

Bracelet Z

Thank you, Jyri! Do you use Cubase or another sequencer? You explained it clearly, but I'm not skilled in routing:( Could you please make a print screen of this routing with clear view of how to do it? I would really appreciate. It would be the best for me and others, I think. Thank you. Sincerely, ...

Parallel compression
Hello, guys.
I have recently been reading about parallel compression. The article described how to use it in ProTools. But I use Cubase SX 3. Does anyone know how to apply parallel compression in Cubase SX 3? How to route everything?
Thank you!
Sincerely,
Bracelet Z

For Separation Mastering Benefit
Hello. Maybe it was already mentioned, but still...: 1. Possibility to import 2, 3 or 4 audio files. 2. Possibility to EQ each separately while monitoring in normal and solo modes. 3. Possibility to export in normal and solo modes. This way we could separately tune the main tracks of the mix. For ex...

Hello, everyone! Could You, guys, explain how to create a Mid and Side version of a track and process/analyze separately in Har-Bal? Coud You write this process step by step? I would really appreciate. I am also waiting for an updated version of Har-Bal with this function. Good luck, Paavo! Sincerel...

Hi, Zumbido! You've mentioned You get around -13dB average. What are peak levels then? The worst think is that we have to try to reach those loud levels, Otherwise we are not good engineers:) I also agree for more breathing and relaxed songs. I use Cubase for mixdown; Then Har-Bal to see what correc...

Thank You! Yes, it was the mixdown before mastering and I wrote the numbers, which indicate average and peak levels in Har-Bal. For drums I used electronic hip-hop kit. I've used compressor on the kick and then the limiter jointly with the bass and so on. But I know that guys reach near -6db average...

Average & Peaks ! ! !
Hey mates! Lets assume I have drum kits, bass, strings and guitar playing together (it's hip-hop song). When I put it into har-bal I get average: -15 db and peak: -10 db. Well, it doesn't seem to have big holes or peaks. By the way I tried to correct a little. But even after the correction there are...

Slow & fast songs
Hello guys and Earle! I have recently mixed two songs. The first one is 86 BPM and another one - 126 BPM. Ocourse, I used Har-Bal:) And maybe it is the first time that I discovered a big differences when trying to master them. In the song, which is 86 BPM, I had a lot of room to work with and reache...
