Boomy Bass Problem

Post by tcatzere »

I'm in the process or remastering a project from the mid-70s which has a very boomy bass, and looking for any suggestions as to the most effective way to correct this? Thanks.

Apply a high pass filter and sweep between 45 - 60hz and find the spot where the bass sounds its tightest.
