Hei, Paavo!

What's new with the new version (3.0.05)?

Take care!

Hi Jyri,

I haven't formerly announced it yet as I was waiting to see if any problems show with the build. revision 4 is there as a fallback but so far so good.

It's basically a bug fix version with one feature addition. The list of changes include:

1) Fixed problems with dynamic node editing that allowed illegal inputs that would result in nodes that cannot be deleted.

2) Fixed shared filter cross-grading problem resulting in simple filters not being able to be shared between tracks.

3) Improved segment navigation. With a segment already selected you can select a new segment by clicking the segment in the upper bar whilst the shift key is down.

4) Fixed file changed cancel bug. On closing the application and being presented with the filter changed save dialog, pressing the cancel button does not cancel the operation.

5) Improved CPU usage when using sound cards with short buffer sizes. The notification rate of playback status messages between HBPlayer and Har-Bal is reduced to nominally 20 times per second. In the previous build the rate would be as high as the rate dictated by the buffer size (could be considerably higher) which results in higher CPU usage.

6) Fixed problem of not being able to use an external (USB) network device as a dongle with Mac platforms. You now can.

7) Fixed the undo/redo so that selected spectrum and view and not undo/redo events anymore but undo/redo state information common to all other undo/redo events. This make undo / redo more logical and usable.

cheers,

Paavo.
