Can't get v2 to load

Post by kevvvvv »

I'm having finger trouble here:

I've installed HB2 into a new folder (ie different to the old hb1.5 folder), and entered the code successfully.

HB2 loads okay.

The problem starts when I try to load a wav file.

HB says it's an unsupported file format and refuses to load.

I'm stuck. Nothing loads.

Any suggestions?

IF you are loading the wave file from a CD and not your hard drive you will receive this error. Har-Bal needs to create a .anl file in the source directory for each song you load.

I'm loading from hard disk.

As you say, each wav file I try to load generates an .anl file. I've tried this in a few different folders.

But it still makes no difference - "unsupported format"

I use SX 3, P4, 2gb ram, winXP

Okay, here is what I need you to do. Send from our support page step by step exactly what you are doing. It may be something real simple.
Also include your registered customer name.

Did you pick the correct driver for your sound card.

Where are you importing the wave files from.

If you had loaded the incorrect Har-Bal test program you would also receive this error.

Tell us how you installed the program.
