The discussions mention an RMS level of -12 as a pretty good level.
In Sound Forge, the RMS meters seem to indicate that I am getting a reading of + 10 or so. There is a 0 on the meter and everything above that is shown as "in the red"
However, the regular peak VU meter is showing no clips, nothing over about -.3. And the songs sound fine to me.
What's going on here?
