Highlight region in the timeline Har Bal 3

From the tutorial :
To zoom mouse over the timeline, press the left mouse button down and drag the highlight over the region of interest.

It may be only me , but nothing get highlighted when I try to do this .

I got it working but I needed to use Ctrl + Shift + left mouse button down and drag .

Is there a way to make it simple as described in the tutorial ?

Hello Jan,

No it's not only you. It's a typo in the manual. You need to have the SHIFT key pressed while dragging (commonly used selection metaphor in graphic editors). I guess I had to make at least one mistake.
