Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong here!
Just purchased the program. I made a reference file from a similar material pro recording. I bring up my song, then bring up the EQ filter, and for some reason the only one I can adjust is the filter. What am I doing wrong? Does that question make sence?

Hi,
This is what to do:
- Open the wave file of your song. First time in HB will analyze it. The 3 eq traces of your song are displayed.
- Open the Reference you created earlier from the pro recording. It should be a .anl file. The 3 ref traces are displayed.
- Adjust the traces of your song (you are 'creating a filter' with each adjustment).
- Save the filter your created. It will have a .mfl extension. (If you don't save the filter, you will have to create it again from scratch if you decide later to make further changes to your song. This way, next time you open your song, just open the filter file you made.)
- Apply the filter you created by pressing the Record button. A wave file of your song will be written with "_eq" appended to the file name.
- Read the tutorial / manual ! It explains it better.

Naturally, I figured it out on my own about 2 seconds after making the post. But thanks for the quick reply. Hey, howcome I can't seem to get registered as a member of this forum.
