The following is the text from an e-mail to Paavo. I think I owe it to him to make my feelings public. I try not to make mistakes in judgement regarding software, but I really missed on this one.

Paavo, I had a chance to play with the program a bit after receiving my
refund from the first time I bought the program a few weeks ago. I am
amazed! How could I have missed the potential of this software?! Thank you
for processing the refund in a timely fashion, by the way. Your company is
one with obvious integrity.
Please dump the 8bit demo ASAP. If more people could spend time with this
program at full functionality they would freak out. Har-Bal is terrific,
and thank you and all at your company for your work!

unfortunately...
If the demo is full featured it would be hacked and available as warez immediately. I doubt the 8-bit demo will ever be dropped. Personally, while a drawback to the demo, I think it is the best way to handle the issues that demo's present to developers.
