EQ Compensation Task

Post by electro »

How would I be able to make an EQ curve that compensates perfectly for the bass rolloff of a Compressor plugin. (Assuming the rolloff is static.)

Compensates in what way? Are you saying that the compressor plugin is impossing a bass roll-off that you don't want?

If it is truly a static frequency response effect then I would suggest feeding a pink noise signal through the compressor plugin and then loading the result into HarBal. Then you should have a pretty accurate representation of the frequency response of your plugin and can then go about designing you're compensating filter. This all assumes I've understood your question though.

Paavo.
