Is this a possibility guys.
Being able to use plugins inside har-bal.
VST plugs within har-bal
Eventually we aim to do this but it is a big job that requires a lot of time and testing. Testing especially, because the VST plugin interface is not well documented and as such, there are a number of VST hosts in the market place that all behave differently (in terms of VST messaging) and correspondingly a number of plugins that do the same. That makes it rather time consuming to find the correct behaviour.

Steinberg recently came out with the VST3 standard (and SDK I believe). It is absolutely worth taking a look at. Right now, my mastering process is:
1. Export mix from Live.
2. Open wav in Sound Forge, use Izotope and Wave plugin for processing.
3. Open wav in Har-bal, add Air and EQ
4. Open wav in Sound Forge, do some final eqing with Wave plugins.
With VST capability in Har-bal, I could combine Step 3 and 4.
