Does anyone happen know the approximate fundamental frequency of a handclap?

It doesn't strictly have a fundamental frequency though I'd be guessing that the dominant energy would reside somewhere between 300-600Hz depending on how the hand clapper is cupping their hands. Beyond that, you'd have quite a bit of energy extending all the way up to 10KHz from the slap part of the hand clap. Have you got a microphone? Why not just record a couple of hand claps to find out what its spectrum looks like.
